This snap-in type sucker rod centralizer is a downhole anti-wear tool designed for oilfield pumping wells. Made of high-performance nylon with optional PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coating, it centers the sucker rod inside the tubing, preventing direct metal-to-metal contact and reducing eccentric wear between the rod and tubing. It is widely used in deviated wells, directional wells, and severely eccentric wear wells.
Key Features
✅ Snap-in Installation: Quick and easy to install on sucker rods without special tools; the split design allows direct insertion at any position on the rod string.
✅ Wear & Corrosion Resistance: Reinforced nylon (PA66) base material, optional PTFE coating for ultra-low friction, reducing wear and extending service life.
✅ High Impact & Fatigue Resistance: Engineered to withstand continuous reciprocating loads and harsh downhole environments.
✅ Anti-Eccentric Wear: Maintains the sucker rod in the center of the tubing, eliminating metal-on-metal contact and reducing tubing damage.
✅ Customizable Sizes: Fits common sucker rod and tubing sizes to meet various well conditions.

| Application Standard | API Spec 11B | Compliant with oilfield sucker rod standards |
Working Principle
1. The split centralizer is snapped directly onto the sucker rod string at predetermined positions.
2. When installed downhole, the centralizer’s outer diameter is larger than the rod, maintaining the rod centered inside the tubing.
3. During the reciprocating motion of the sucker rod, the centralizer slides against the tubing wall instead of the rod itself, preventing metal-to-metal wear.
4. The PTFE coating further reduces friction, minimizing power consumption and wear rate.
Applications •
Oilfield beam pumping units (CYJ/CYJY series)
• Deviated wells, directional wells, and horizontal wells
• Wells with severe eccentric wear between sucker rods and tubing
• Artificial lift systems for onshore oilfields
